Escort's Latest Invention: The New Escort Passport 9500i, will revolutionize the radar detector industry. Its incredible performance is derived from the same technology used in the Escort 8500 X50. Since its introduction in 2000, no other radar detector has been able to match its sales velocity or outstanding performance. Now the Escort passport 9500i will raise the bar once again.

Intelligent Radar Optimization: The Escort 9500i's radar receiver has been perfectly optimized to provide the best long-range protection on X, K, Ka, POP, and now Ku-band radar for European travel. The result is unmatched protection on all radar bands.

Intelligent Laser Precision: Escort's latest laser circuitry has been fine-tuned to only detect the correct fragments of light used in police laser guns. the new Escort 9500i does this so well, it can alert you to a laser threat even when your vehicle is not the targeted vehicle.

Intelligent Relief: Automatic door openers, security motion sensors and other transmitted signals drive radar detector users crazy due to the constant false alerts. In fact, most radar detector users typically become annoyed by the false alerts and pay no attention to the true alerts. Or even worse, some simply put the radar detector in the glove box and don't use it at all. The outcome can be an expensive one. Thanks to the new Escort 9500i, false alerts can be a thing of the past. This specific location reminder could keep you from being ambushed by instant-on radar or laser the next time you approach. This alert will come approximately 1 mile before you reach the marked area when travelling at 50 mph or more and 1/2 mile before the marked area when travelling at less than 50 mph.

Intelligent Performance: The Escort Passport 9500i can also vary its sensitivity based on the vehicle speed. At interstate speeds, all radar bands are operating at full sensitivity, providing the best possible performance. At slower speeds, X and K-band sensitivity is minimized, giving you full protection, but at a range you need at that speed. The result is real-time, on-demand radar protection.

Intelligent Alerts: The Escort 9500i also provides all the information you need to make an intelligent decision during each and every alert. Radar band, relative signal strength, and now your vehicle speed are displayed during an alert to help you make the best possible decision.

Intelligent Memory: Known speed traps are everywhere. It's a stretch of highway where they always sit, or it's a back road that quickly changes from 45 mph to 25 mph within a few hundred feet. You don't always remember but now your radar detector can. The Escort Passport 9500i's "Mark Location" feature allows you to store a specific location in memory. Once stored, the Escort 9500i will provide an alert well in advance to remind you of the danger before you get there. This friendly reminder may just be the difference between getting a ticket or continuing on your way.

Intelligent Volume: The Escort 9500i can also adjust the alert volume based on the ambient noise in your vehicle. Using a miniature microphone, the Escort 9500i will increase the alert volume to make sure you can hear the alert.
