NOTE: An IR filter on the video camera has been used to highlight the output from the jamming heads on some videos. This is NOT visible to the naked eye or the police. A laser jammer is essential for full protection, with some areas now ONLY using laser. Local police now have tenders for laser based photo speed cameras. A radar detector alone is no longer adequate protection.
Laser is traditionally difficult to detect with a radar detector as the beam often does not reach inside the cabin. The only real protection (and for superior detection) is an externally mounted laser jammer such as our GF100. Hand tested right here in Perth. Simply detecting laser is pointless as the police operator has already acquired your speed.
